Thanks, Kerri! I just got back from another trip out to this particular section of our area … with my camera, of course … so I’m sure it will be making another appearance soon (this time with a few feathered friends).
I loved your post on the fall colors in North Carolina. Your husband’s photos with your words is evocative for a reader!

Love the autumnal colors. That perspective makes me feel like I’m looking into the scene and I might be able to slip through. Excellent!

Thank you, Chuck! That section was past its peak by the time I got out there to photograph it … but I thought the perspective through the green leaves would make an interesting grouping. I hadn’t thought of it from the point of view to slip into it. I like it; thanks for adding that particular perspective! 🙂

That is a beautiful fall image! You captured the beautiful colors, Cindi! 🙂

Thank you, Amy! They’re a little past peak, but I have a couple more photos I’m going to share soon. They’re on the edge of a pond, and the reflections in the water are enticing.

Ooohhh the colours. We are almost out of fall and full time in the desert. I’ll miss those colours.

We had such a glorious and long summer here, and after a glimpse of cooler sunny fall weather, it’s now stormy, windy, rainy and so we’ve missed a full-on Fall Spectacular season (especially when you add the pine trees to the mix). Finding glimpses of the color has been rewarding.
I know what you mean by missing the fall since you’re in the desert. But oh WOW, your photos of those colors are equally spectacular!! 🙂

What a great juxtaposition of colors and seasons!
