Thank you, Amy. I was glad I saw it at that moment … a few seconds later, it was gone.

The place you live is beautiful, calm or stormy.
Thanks for checking out my website.

Yes it is, isn’t it?!
I’ve just scratched the surface of your blog; have you traveled much beyond Bryne and Rogaland? As an expat in Norway yourself, I know you appreciate all the scenery this amazing country gives us!

I haven’t travelled as much as I would like. I have been to Bergen a couple of times, and spent a while exploring the parts of Hardangerfjord that are close to Røldal, but I’d like to do so much more. The last twelve months have been really fascinating though, as before I began to work, I hadn’t really integrated at all, and now I have some wonderful friends. I feel very lucky.

I like the way the water has a pink glow to it!

I was glad to be able to capture it — it was only there a few moments!
Thanks for stopping by, Christy!

Lovely photo of muted colors of sunset or maybe it is a sunrise. A beautiful scene

It’s the reflection of January 3rds sunset. The sun is actually to my left/behind me and was reflecting over other dark clouds to make this one glow. Magical!

Seeing Norway through your eyes is great, great fun for me.
I enjoy sharing it, Kate; thank you!

It was, wasn’t it? 🙂

Good for you to get out of bed. Or is it sunset?
January 15, 2015 at 7:55 pm
I’m not a morning person. Even though, on that day, the sun rose at 9:44 am … I still don’t do mornings. 😉
It was the sunset, about six hours later. *That* I could manage.

Beautiful capture, Cindi. Sights like this can be fleeting, for sure. One looks out the window, but by the time the camera is found and made ready sometimes some of the magic is lost. You were just in time, then!

There have been several times my husband has jumped out of the way as I scurry around muttering “WHERE did I put my camera????!” 🙂
